Maurice DiGiuseppe: Researcher Summary
Maurice DiGiuseppe’s research focuses on the ways in which science is represented in print and digital teaching-learning materials such as textbooks. He is also interested in studying student teachers’ use of digital technologies and inservice teacher professional development through Japanese Lesson Study. Dr. DiGiuseppe is currently conducting two research projects, one entitled “Sustaining Professional Development: Lesson Study in Secondary Science Education” and the other entitled “Exploring Pre-Service Teachers’ Views Regarding Use of Computer-Based Technologies in their Teacher Preparation Program.”
Dr. DiGuiseppe is also the Editor of the Journal of Educational Informatics, an online journal of the Faculty of Education of the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT). It presents original work of graduate students in education and digital technologies and educational informatics, and considers articles submitted by researchers in the same fields.
