FULL TITLE: Measuring Digital Competencies for Mobile Learning 2: Comparing Self-reports and Performance Using PBL Activities
This study extends the work of a research project in progress in the EILab focused on testing the GTCU instrument against observed performance of problem-based scenarios that are at the “goal” level (Watts, 1991) and PBL Model L level (Savin-Baden 2007). The proposed study will examine the differential in what Watts (1991) would deem “given” and “own” and Savin-Baden (2007) would deem as “level 5 PBL” APAM’s, and the self-rating on the TCU instrument.
