Andrew de Koning is an Ontario College instructor and a Master of Arts in Education and Digital Technology student at Ontario Tech University. He teaches introductory office software courses for Seneca College business programs. He is interested in problem-solving and self-directed learning readiness in digital environments. In a general sense, he aims to help learners develop independent technical skill acquisition. His research focuses on problem-solving, problem complexity and searching as a learning process in computer software applications and Internet search engines. He is currently researching the effects of task complexity in problem-solving with Internet search engines.
