Dr. Maurice DiGiuseppe’s research focuses on the ways in which science is represented in print and digital teaching-learning materials such as textbooks. He is also interested in studying student teachers’ use of digital technologies and inservice teacher professional development through Japanese Lesson Study. Dr. DiGiuseppe is currently conducting two research projects, one entitled “Sustaining Professional Development: Lesson Study in Secondary Science Education” and the other entitled “Exploring Pre-Service Teachers’ Views Regarding Use of Computer-Based Technologies in their Teacher Preparation Program.”
