Dr. Michael A. Herzog is a tenured full professor of Information Systems Engineering, the Vice Dean for research at the Department of Economics at Magdeburg-Stendal University, and the head of the SPiRIT research group. His research and teaching focus on Educational Technologies, Human-Computer Interaction, and IT-supported Sustainability. Earlier in his career, he founded and led three software and media technology companies in Germany and Italy for 15 years. Dr. Herzog received a Ph.D. in information systems and a M.Sc. in computer science from Technical University Berlin.
