Sana Wajid holds a B.A in Education Studies and Digital Technologies specializing in Adult Education from Ontario Tech University looking to complete her Masters in the same area of study. She has over ten years of experience within the education world, serving as a teacher in elementary school and later moving onto administration and management for a private school. She runs her own freelance consultancy, working with individuals and families new to Ontario make cultural adjustments and acts as an outlet to resources that are of need. Her speciality is working on basic literacy and life skills through online mediums.  Her area of research focuses on the shift from the traditional classroom to online mediums and how that impacts the overall mindset of a learner, the role of teaching presence in a student-driven system and exploring the benefits and limitations that technologies add to such environments.
