Rimsha is an Ontario Certified Teacher and currently a Master of Education student at Ontario Tech University. She holds a B.E.d. from York University and a B.A. in Early Childhood Studies from Toronto Metropolitan University. Rimsha recently worked as a Project Manager on the Enhancing Equity in Ontario Elementary Education project. A project that brought together all Ontario district school boards, education stakeholders, and scholars focused on educational equity and human rights, to allow for sharing of promising practices, along with providing space to reflect on and commit towards greater action. Rimsha has experience teaching across K-12 and higher education and is passionate about making education accessible to children in marginalized communities. Rimsha’s areas of interest include digital learning and innovation, web tools, fully online learning communities, equity, and inclusion.
