Jessica Clarkson

Jessica Clarkson is a graduate researcher at EILAB, Faculty of Education, OntarioTechU. Jessica was involved with the Graduate Student Council as the Faculty of Education Representative as well as the Vice President External. Additionally, she is an Education Representative for the PSAC Union. She holds a Hons. BSc in Psychology from Trent University. Jessica teaches at Seneca and Durham College. She is the Program Director for Digital Media and sits on the Board of Directors for The Endometriosis Network Canada. Jessica’s areas of interests are problem-based learning, situated learning, authentic learning, augmented reality, serious games, and social justice. Her completed MA thesis explored the effects of augmented reality apps that use situated learning on intrinsic learning in individuals with autism spectrum disorder.
